The College of Pharmacy, Madurai Medical College is very pioneer pharmacy college established in 1960-61. The College of Pharmacy, MMC is a renowned and prestigious institution in pharmacy field. In the four memorable years, I spent in the college; I acquired great knowledge in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing which helped me to become an entrepreneur, an important component of academic excellence is our remarkable faculty that teaches with skill and passion. The COP provides a rich and diversified culture to grind the young brains so as to get evolve in to the challenging scenario with performance, competitiveness, value creation and other professional skills. I am always proud to say that I am a product of College of Pharmacy, MMC, which has rich heritage and best academic excellence. I strongly believe that “our attitude determines our altitude”. The Alumni is a strong force that binds us with our roots of wisdom. The Pharmacy Alumni Association has been envisaged to foster a closely knit network bridging the gap between young budding MMCians and the accomplished Alumni. The Pharmacy Alumni Association will be the platform for all the MMCians to Reconnect, Reunite and Rejoice. I wish PAA for all its future endeavours.
At the outset, I profusely thank&appreciate PAA-MMC for an Excellent &Noble service of integrating the budding pharmacists (Students) and the Alumni from Academia,Industry, Regulatory and other related field. MMC imbibed me: “Success will not come to you; you have to go after it”.My respected Teachers with their excellent skillsinculcated the core / fundamentals of Pharmacy education / curriculum in us. 5 years of my studies atMMC: 1966 -1970 (D.Pharm & B.Pharm)was memorableyears.I express hereby my deepest gratitudeto Madurai medical College& my Teachers. I am 75 years now and still keep in connect with most of my colleagues through PAA-MMC.
